Terms of service
Last updated 12 July 2026
These terms cover your use of Whittle. By connecting a shop or creating an account, you agree to them. Whittle is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Etsy, Inc.
What Whittle does
Whittle suggests a small number of listing changes, drafts them in your voice, prepares the approved version for you to place in Etsy's editor, and measures the outcome. You stay in control: Whittle's Etsy access is read-only, so your shop is only ever edited by you.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and the owner of an Etsy seller account you control, and you must keep to Etsy's own policies. Your relationship with Etsy is governed by Etsy's terms, not ours.
Your shop and content
You own your listings and content. You grant Whittle permission to read your shop data; changes are applied by you, in Etsy's own editor. You're responsible for what you choose to publish.
AI assistance and compliance
Whittle drafts copy with AI and includes Etsy's required AI-disclosure in every prepared rewrite, with the maker attributes checked first. You review and place every change, and you remain responsible for your listings' compliance with Etsy's policies and applicable law.
No guarantee of results
The impact figures Whittle shows are observational — correlation, not proof of cause. Etsy traffic and sales depend on many things outside any tool's control. We don't promise more views, favorites, sales, or ranking, and you shouldn't read our numbers as a guarantee.
Acceptable use
Don't use Whittle to break Etsy's rules or the law, to abuse the service or other users, to reverse-engineer it, or to resell it. We may limit or suspend accounts that do.
Plans and billing
Whittle has a free tier and a paid plan (Whittle Pro). Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; your paid access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. Prices may change with reasonable notice.
Availability
Whittle is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep it running and accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or retire features.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Whittle isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost sales, profits, or data arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can disconnect and delete your data at any time from Settings — deletion becomes permanent after a 14-day grace window. We may suspend access for abuse or to protect the service or other users.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we'll update the date above and flag anything material.
